Hocus-Pocus Beauty was originally created by Mirta Vazquez. She had a vision of makeup services and a signature cosmetic line inspired by a dream. She wanted every woman to experience the creativity and magic of makeup, using professional-quality products, so that they could feel and look their absolute best.Making her dream a reality, Mirta has created the Hocus-Pocus salon where she can practice, and people can experience her magic. Her unique style combines fun, fantasy, and professionalism – the ingredients that makes Hocus-Pocus authentic. Today, Mirta is soon to release her new cosmetic line under her signature name.Hocus-Pocus allows women to be creative, feel confident, and-perhaps best of all- be themselves.

Mirta Vazquez - bio
From a small, cultural neighborhood in Mexico City just outside the metropolitan area, Mirta was born. Her father, an immigrant from Spain, owned a lab called Jamavaal. Together, they manufactured candles, shampoos, soaps, creams, cosmetics, and new age and magical products. From this small business, Mirta developed a passion for style and beauty. As a little girl, she played in the lab, creating her own lipsticks and perfumes. Mirta eventually became professionally trained in beauty makeup and prosthetics in Mexico, Paris, the Middle East, and in New York.In her early career, she used her talents creating independent film monsters and prosthetics. Mirta came to realize her call and her dream – help make every woman be the best they could. The essence of her dream stems from her early childhood working with her father in the lab.
Today, Mirta specializes in weddings, special events, and shows. Her makeup line is in progress, and she would love for every woman to experience the magic of makeup.
